This past weekend we had the pleasure of visiting The Rock Ranch, just an 1-1.5 hour drive from Atlanta. The farm is a 1500 acre working cattle ranch and was founded by S. Truett Cathy, founder of Chick-fil-a.

Anytime Chick-fil-a is mentioned it’s a done deal for me. I’m there, and I don’t even eat meat anymore.

I received tickets to facilitate a review, as always, my opinions are my own

The amount of things you can do at The Rock Ranch are endless! If spending the day here, make sure it’s the full day so you can experience everything. If you need reasons to enjoy the fun-filled farm, here are a few to get you going!

18+ Attractions included with admission

For the low price of $12/tax, you can enjoy over 18 attractions at the farm! Some of them include;

Fishing, Paddle Boats, Jumping Pillow, Bikes, Tiny Towne, Playground, petting zoo, the list goes on!

We didn’t get to do everything considering the time we arrived, but we had fun and made some memories with what we did get to. We got a workout on the paddle boats, and laughed more than anything!

Don’t get blinded by the excitement coming from the back of the boat.

Zip lining and Rock Climbing

Although at an extra cost, the zip lining and rock climbing are well worth it. We have visited The Rock Ranch a few years ago and rocked climbed then and had fun. But this time my son was actually the right weight to zip line, so zip line we did! This was actually everyone’s first time zip lining (except for me, who did it a few years ago here at The Rock Ranch). Everyone LOVED it!

We loved it so much that we upgraded our rock climbing wall passes. This was our favorite!

Stay Here

If you’re looking for so summer camping, then The Rock Ranch is your place. From tent camping to wagon camping (you read that right), The Rock Ranch has you covered! If you’re not into traditional camping, then they also offer farm-house rentals that can sleep up to 8! I’m totally intrigued by the wagon camping. They look super cool!

Ultimately What you Get is…

Some great family and/or friend time outdoors. Laughs and memories included. We had a couple of firsts during our trip to The Rock Ranch. Zip lining, paddle boats to be specific. The amount you get in the $12 admission is well worth the drive. I totally fell in love with The Rock Ranch this weekend, and if you visit, you will too!

Tips

Bring water! We didn’t bring enough and definitely could have used it! However, they do sell water, but bringing your own could save you a few bucks. Bucks that could be used on zip lining. 😉

Bring your own food, or buy Chick-fil-a on site. It is more to purchase the Chick-fil-a on site, but hey, it’s Chick-fil-a! You can bring your own food as they do have a picnic area. Or, have a picnic out by the ponds and enjoy the view!

Wear comfortable shoes. Whatever you wear, make sure they’re comfortable. You can get away with flat sandals or flip-flops, but we chose tennis shoes.
