I received a copy of Finding Dory for review purposes, as always, my opinions are my own.

So I think I just started a tradition today. Monday Movie Night. Our first movie to start our tradition, Finding Dory. We totally missed it while it was in the theaters, well, I did. My son watched it while he was visiting my mom for the summer. I knew I would love it, I mean, how couldn’t I. Finding Nemo was amazing and I held a high standard for Finding Dory.

And Finding Dory totally fulfilled my expectations.

Dory has the same charm that she did in Finding Nemo. With the gang still together, they set out to find what Dory has been looking for since she was a child.

Her parents.

As Dory, Marlin and Nemo set out on their adventure, they themselves get lost from each other. Dory stays on her quest to find her parents as Marlin and Nemo try to find Dory. Throughout Dory’s journey, she will¬†meet new friends and reconnect with old ones. As Dory searches to no avail and Marlin and Nemo find Dory they get separated again!

This sets Dory in a place that is unknown to her, yet she see’s something that is so familiar that leads her to what she has been looking for. Her parents.

Of course this sets her mood to utter happiness. Until she remembers, her friends are not there. Thus leading her quest to get her friends back. In which they succeed.

I truly loved this movie. It was heartwarming, funny, and great for the whole family. It shows that family is family whether near or far, whether gone for days or years and ¬†that good friends aren’t just friends, they’re family.

You can OWN Finding Dory November 15th!!
