MAMMA MIA! is here in Atlanta for it’s farewell tour. We were lucky enough to attend the opening night at the Fox Theatre. The show doesn’t only showcase some great musical numbers, but also a great and funny story line thats a perfect compliment to a girls night out.

We recieved tockets to facilitate a review, as always, my opinions are my own

Now you know my son tends to be my sidekick, so he joined me for the show. It definitley didn’t peak his interest, but I will say the little girl behind me found the show quite funny. Although the musical isn’t geared toward children, I think it may be a good show that a younger girl would enjoy vs. A younger boy (like my 8 year old son).

We’ve never seen the movie, so everything was unexpected for us. The actors were amazing!! Voices superb and didn’t miss a beat. They kept the audience lively, enthused and wanting more. We walked out as the curtains were lowered, to wait in the lobby for some friends. The show that I thought was over put on another couple numbers! And the audience was loving it (as they should have)! As people were exiting, they were dancing and singing. Totally worth seeing it before it makes it’s exit from Broadway.

MAMMA MIA! will play at Atlanta’s Fox Theatre June 13-18. The performance schedule is as follows:

Tuesday-Thursday: 7:30 p.m.

Friday: 8 p.m.

Saturday: 2 p.m., 8 p.m.

Sunday: 1 p.m., 6:30 p.m.

MAMMA MIA! is produced by Work Light Productions, whose other touring productions include Cinderella, RENT 20th Anniversary Tour, Motown, Irving Berlin’s White Christmas, and Vocalosity.
