Lanier Island Magical Night of Lights

We love that attractions around Atlanta pull out all the bells and whistles for the Holiday season. It’s such a magical time here in the Atlanta area. This magical time has become traditions of ours the past couple years. I can only hope that my son will carry on these traditions when he has children of his own. With that being said, it’s time for Lanier Island Magical Night if Lights.

This year marks 25 years that Lanier has hosted Magical Night of Light. The magic beings November 17th and runs to January 3rd. It’s more magical than just the lights, you can also partake in the festivities in Holiday Village. Visit the Big Guy himself and even roast marshmallows at the open fire pits. There will also be carnival rides to make your experience even more magical (carnival rides are an extra cost).

Upcoming opportunities for Lanier Islands’ patrons to give AND receive:

  • Georgia Mountain Food Bank Mondays – November 20 & 27 and December 4 & 11:

Bring 5 cans of non-perishable food and receive admission to Magical Nights of Lights for just $25/vehicle

  • U.S Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Tuesdays – November 21 & 28 and December 5 & 12:  Bring an unwrapped toy and receive admission to Magical Nights of Lights for just $25/vehicle
