Charlotte’s Web at Center of Puppetry Arts

I love the art scene here in Atlanta, that no matter what your age, or what you’re into, that there is something for everyone. One place I love that I have taken my son for the past several years is Center of   Puppetry Arts. We’ve seen several plays that were marvelous and the puppet museum is amazing. It’s a great family friendly place and great for a weekend outing. You can even head to one of Atlanta’s most popular dining options, The Varsity, which isn’t too far from the theatre.

They rotate the plays with different themes, performers and stories, most are well-known and loved.  The classic tale of Charlotte’s Web will spin to the Center for Puppetry Arts from September 19 – October 22 to share the triumph of friendship and the power of language with families. Complete with the barnyard’s most colorful residents including Templeton, Wilbur and of course, Charlotte, this show will have guests of all ages cheering, “Terrific, terrific, terrific!”

Your all-inclusive Charlotte’s Web ticket includes the live performance, Create-A-Puppet Workshop™ or To-Go Kit, and admission to the Worlds of Puppetry Museum.

It’s a great play for children 4+, and as with every puppet show. They’ll be able to create their own puppet afterwards as well. For Charlotte’s Web, they’ll be creating Gabby Goose Rod Puppet! I love that the interaction doesn’t stop right after the show. Your kids can make something that they can continue to play with well after the play has ended.

Have you been to Center of Puppetry Arts before? I highly suggest going! One lucky winner will win a family 4-pack to the showing of Charlotte’s web, choosing from the shows times below;
